Visit some truly world class attractions in the state of Victoria. Many of the highlights here cannot be seen anywhere else, and are well worth a look.
The National Gallery of Victoria houses a fine collection of both Australian and international art, as well as showcasing travelling exhibits of contemporary and traditional art. The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia, exhibits some of the country’s most well known and beloved pieces including Tom Roberts’ Shearing the Rams, and Frederick McCubbin’s Lost.
Museum Victoria is made up of three campuses, each of them entirely unique. The Melbourne Museum contains seven galleries, all devoted to their own theme. Walk through the Forest Gallery, a world-first exhibit which uses live trees to recreate the Victorian temperate forests. Or you might prefer to stare up at a five metre dinosaur skeleton in the Evolution Gallery. The Children’s Museum is something truly special, with all exhibitions here aimed specifically at three to eight year olds. So if you have young ones, this is the place to go.

Get your hands on to some fascinating technology at the Scienceworks Museum. Exhibitions here are a fun and interactive experience for young and old. The museum also features the Melbourne Planetarium, which is the only digital planetarium in the southern hemisphere.
