Here at Extreme Tourist we're staunch fans of CBS’s “The Amazing Race”. We'll be devoutly watching series ten as 12 teams of two set out from Seattle, Washington, on a race around the world.
When travelling the is the saying, West is Best, East is Beast. In previous seasons teams have set out east across the Atlantic Ocean first. This will be the first season where the Pacific Ocean will be crossed first. Will this season prove true that west actually is best?
CBS is going to throw some diversity into this upcoming season. There will be an Asian American team, an Indian American Team, and a Muslim American Team. One contestant will be an amputee. Add into the mix two beauty queens, Dustin Konzelman, Miss California 2005, along with Kandace Pelletier, Miss New York 2005. Did we also mention there will be an Open Lesbian this season as well?
Once again we’ll follow them around the globe and provide our commentary. In the United States, the season will get underway with an exclusive 90-minute premiere on Sunday, September 17, 2006 at 8:30pm Eastern Time. The Amazing Race 10 will continue to air with the Sunday 8:30pm (Eastern Time) timeslot. Once again, Phil Keoghan is host of the series. We love Phil!
In Australia, we understand the Seven Network will air The Amazing Race 10.
