We are looking to our members to nominate and vote on the Top Ten Extreme Destinations of 2008. What is an Extreme Destination? Well, an Extreme Destination can be:
- A new and emerging destination,
- An interesting yet dangerous destination,
- A destination off the beaten track,
- An unusual destination,
- A destination with an unusual event,
- Or simply an extremely exciting destination.
We encourage all members to drop by the 2008 Top 10 Extreme Destinations forum to nominate a location. If your original nomination is used, we will send you a Lonely Planet book of your choice (Retail Value: up to $29.99 USD). If you are not a member, membership is free and we encourage you to sign up for an account on Extreme Tourist.
The Extreme Tourist 2008 Top 10 Extreme Destinations is sent to all major and travel media organisations around the world so you may just see your nomination in your local news media or travel magazine.
