The ferries on Sydney Harbour are entwined in the history of Australia’s oldest city, and have been crossing the waters since 1854. Whether you want a sightseeing cruise around the harbour or you just want to get from A to B, a journey on Sydney’s ferries is just what you’re after. There are thirty seven wharves along the water’s edge, including Taronga Zoo and popular harbour side suburbs like Manly and Parramatta. Go on a scenic cruise and see the sights of the harbour, with a magical evening cruise where you can see the lights of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge reflecting off the water.

Add a touch of entertainment to you ferry ride, and hop on board a vessel with full party facilities! A fleet of three historic vessels operates on the harbour, and are the perfect place for a party. One has a bar full of goodies, while the other two are BYO licensed. There’s room on all to mix and mingle, see the sights and perhaps even hit the dance floor!

Away from Sydney, you can cruise around the waters of beautiful Nelson Bay at Port Stephens to the fishing town of Tea Gardens. Soak up the scenery, observe the prolific birdlife or if you’re lucky you may come across the local bottlenose dolphins that frolic in the waters around the bay.
