Copan sports some unique and interesting Mayan Ruins where one could easily spend a couple of days. The ruins are not as large as Tikal but you’ll find extensive artwork and sculpture here. To reach Copan, busses are available from San Pedro Sula.
Toncontín International Airport (TGU) is the international airport for Tegucigalpa is the gateway to the country by air. The Airport is served by both TACA and COPA along with American Airlines and Continental of the US.
