THIS IS THE SEARCH PANEL

Ever wondered what it’s like to jump out of a plane? Find out for yourself when you take to the skies over South Australia. Experience the ultimate thrill of skydiving as you hurtle towards the earth from up to 12 000 feet! You’ll barely have time to take in the views before countdown begins and your body is thrown from the plane.

Although you’ll be falling at speeds of up to 200 kilometres per hour, you get the strange sensation of being motionless as you freefall through the atmosphere for an amazing thirty to fifty seconds. If it’s your first jump, you’ll be in safe hands on a tandem dive or supported by two experienced instructors right by your side.

The plane takes off from a strip just outside Monarto, and the air above offers a bird’s eye view of the Adelaide Hills and the Murray River all the way out to the coast of the Fleurieu Peninsula. The local club members will be there to calm your nerves as you’re trained for the jump, and the friendly instructors can give you any info you’re after if you’re still not sure that you want to take the plunge!

After you’ve made your first jump, why not take the next step? Solo skydiving needs a bit more training, but it’s worth it for the rush of freefalling in total isolation.
