Queensland outstrips every other state in the theme park arena, being the undisputed theme park capital of the southern hemisphere. This is where you’ll find the biggest, scariest, newest and most elaborate rides and attractions of any theme park in the country.

Take the kids to meet their favourite cartoon characters and see the sets of famous films in a larger than life version of movie magic. ‘Hollywood on the Gold Coast’ is a pretty accurate description of theme parks in this category, and you could sometimes be forgiven for thinking you’ve been transported to a real life movie set!

Splash down to a theme park with water slides, or see the whales play! Queensland is synonymous with sparking waters, so take the whole family out for a day playing in the water at an aquatic playground. Or you can see other watery creatures like dolphins and killer whales in full performance mode!
