Parasailing

If you’re after an aerial thrill that will turn you into a human kite for a while, then parasailing is for you. See some of Australia’s favourite spots while being towed around lakes, rivers and oceans behind a specially built boat.

There’s nothing quite like being winched out into the sky with the parasail billowing out behind you. You’ll rise one hundred metres into the air, and then the ride is up to you. Sit back and enjoy the feeling of being suspended in the air with nothing between you and the open environment, or ask for a wild ride where you’re unceremoniously dunked into the water before being hoisted back into the sky.

Anywhere there’s enough open water for it is fair game for parasailing. Take to the skies above the Whitsundays, around Sydney Harbour, over the sea near Darwin or along the Swan River in Perth. No matter how many times you’ve visited, you’ve never seen these places like this before!

You won’t need to spend all your savings on this one, since it’s cheaper than any other aerial tour you could go on. You also don’t need any sort of skill. Experienced operators will make sure you’re strapped into your harness good and proper, and then all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the ride of a lifetime.
